ADDITIONAL DESCRIPTION
"As Is, Where Is" Unused, Partially Installed Rotary Drum Dryer, Mfg. by Feeco International in 2014. 9'0" diameter x 60'0" Length. Carbon Steel Drum and Flights. 27,000 kg/hr @ 12% moisture content capacity. Drive rating is 125 HP, 525 volts. Combustion Chamber: Specially designed Feeco right angle combustion chamber designed for maximum heat release of up to 15 milion BTU/HR using natural gas 15 million BTU/HR including burner, main gas valve train, pilot valve train, control panel with flame. Safety and 30 HP Combustion Air Blower Burner System. The dryer is designed to evaporate 2450 Kg/Hr of moisture and a total product throughput of 31,250 Kg/Hr. It was designed as a low temperature dryer but the burner can be refurbished to operate at much higher inlet temperatures which will significantly increase the water evaporation capacity and the throughput as well. The buyer will have to engage FEECO to redesign the burner management system to meet their material processing needs. The specification Table is listed under documentations. Rotary Drum: One (1) FEECO International parallel flow, straight tube type rotary drum dryer to be 9'0" (2743 mm) inside diameter by 60' (18288 mm) long of A36 plate construction complete with inlet end plate and the following: Internals: 10'0" (3048 mm) of advancing spirals followed by 5'0" (1524 mm) of radial tumbling flights and finally full curtain formed steel flighting. All fabricated from A36 steel plate. Flights are bolted to a gusseted angle support welded to drum shell. 5'0" (1524 mm) of bare shell section at discharge end to allow for particulate settling. Tires: Seamless, machined-face, 4140 forged steel, 230-270 BHN. Tires will incorporate free-floating design to allow for thermal expansion and travel over machined pads. Wheels: Machined face, high carbon AISI 4340 steel, 280-320 BHN. Wheel Bearings: Eight (8) anti-friction pillow block bearings. Wheel Shaft: Machined from cold rolled steel to be compatible with bearing design Gear & Pinion: Driven pinion to be machined and shrink-fit on a jackshaft with bearings. Girth gear is a machined forging and will be split and reversible. Gear and pinion will be 1.0 DP and will have a safety design factor of 2. Gear Lubrication: One (1) automatic gear lubrication system. Thrust Rollers: Machined-face, high carbon steel, complete with special double roller bearings for longitudinal control of dryer. Take-Ups: Complete heavy bi-directional adjusting screws are provided for aligning all wheels, drives, and thrust roller assembly. Inlet Breeching: Fabricated of A36 steel. Discharge Breeching: Oversized discharge hood to reduce dust losses to be fully enclosed and includes flanged gas outlet and fabricated of A36 steel. Seals: A FEECO double labyrinth seal is provided for feed and discharge ends. Guards: Four wheel guards, 12-gauge carbon steel to guard nip points of trunnion wheels, one pinion guard, and full girth guard. Wheel & Tire Lubrication: Graphite block lubricators to prevent excessive wear to wheels and steel tires. Trunnion, Pinion, & Drive Unit Base: Bases of heavy structural steel.
